 Brief requirements

16-25 year old, fun loving mass market.

Clothing: Modern, fashion conscious, mainstream brands with hints of an edgy attitude.
Music listened to: Popular, mainstream. Young artists who are relatable and can be associated with. Artists like Justin Beiber, Travis Scott, Childish Gambino and a few others.
Food Eaten: Healthy food but popular brands like MacDonald's is enjoyed etc.

My video will appeal to this 'perfect audience member' because my song choice is fun loving and appealing to a mass market aged around the brief. The band/artist will be dressed in a way that the audience can associate with with similar styles and clothing choices. The song my band/artist will perform will be current and popular making it easy for the audience to listen to and enjoy, it will also be available on many platforms that young people use.

VAL Type

Believers, Strivers, Experiencers, Achievers

All of these VAL types either are completely in the target audience or have elements of their behaviour that fit in with the target audience. They strive for approval, family oriented, have elements of routine in their life. They are also impulsive and enjoy life and new experiences. I believe that this broad range of VAL types are all encompassed within my 16-25 year old target audience. Having such a wide variety  of VAL types allows my artist/band to appeal to is mass market audience which will make them as popular and as mainstream as they can be.

Young and Rubicam

The Mainstream, The Explorer, The Reformer

My selected Young and Rubicam types have been chosen because, the mainstreamer is someone who lives in the domestic world and they conform to the mainstream of society which is following what is current and popular which is almost exactly where my band/artist will lie in the eye of the public. The Explorer would be part of my band / artists target audience because they enjoy the process of discovery and thrive of new experiences and considering my band/artists are new and up and coming they would be perfect for an explorer. Finally, reformers could also fit within the target audience because they enjoy independence and freedom which, alongside fun and many other things, my band/artists believes in.

MOSAIC Profiling

Happy Families, Suburban Comfort, Urban Intelligence,

These MOSAIC profiles use the internet for one of their main sources of media consumption , they are predominately young and they have other media consumption formats available like radio and TV allowing my band/artists coverage to be seen in many possible ways. But considering, the content my artist is producing will be primarily available on the internet these profiles are most suitable for the target demographic.
